This workshop took place aboard the boat ‘Kitty’ as we cruised along the Basingstoke Canal. Women from various cultural backgrounds, including South Asian origin and the Ukraine were invited to create paintings on found wood. Their work reflected the changing landscape through the journey across the water and its biodiversity.

This workshop was part of the events program for my solo exhibition at the Lightbox, Woking, funded by National Lottery Project Grant, Arts Council England.
